Another piece of folklore that I must dispel also is the fact that some fruits are acidic. I have even heard members of my family suggesting that they were not allowed to eat certain fruits because the acid “messes with their stomach.”

Based on research done by Dr. Herbert Shelton, there is no such thing as fruits such as lemons and oranges being acidic because all fruits become alkaline after they enter the body.

If you master the proper way of eating fruits you will have the secret to beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness, and a fit body temple. On a side note; graying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles will not occur by ingesting fruits correctly.

Another issue that should be addressed is that of fruit juice consumption. When you feel the need to consume fruit juice it is always best to drink it freshly made and not from a can or bottle. Reason being is that it contains no preservatives and has no added sugar.

When you drink from the can or bottle you are mostly drinking FRUCTOSE (basically added sugar) which will not help you in your effort to trim up. Furthermore do not cook your fruits because cooking them eliminates all of the nutrients and you virtually lose all of the natural vitamins that they contain.

Eating the entire fruit is always a better option than drinking the juice. If you feel compelled to drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it. Do not be alarmed by this statement. This does not mean that you have to build up saliva in your mouth, because it will do it on its own.

You can go on a three day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Try eating fruits and drinking fruit juice throughout the three days and you will be surprised at the compliments that you will get from family and friends about how radiant you look.
