Steps for a Healthy Tummy
Having a lot of money and paying the world’s best trainers is an easy way for the stars of
Hollywood to keep their tummy’s healthy and fit, but what about the average Joe (or Josephine) who live by the
sweat of their brow?
Based on the economic state of the United States one can comfortably assume that most of the country’s residents do
not have access to “extra money” to pay a fitness trainer. Be that as it may, there is still no excuse for you not
to be in healthy condition. Here are 7 steps to help anyone keep a healthy midsection.
Step 1: Do your best to eat before you exercise. Eating before the workout not only keeps you from
starvation after the workout but it allows you to burn your food at a reasonable rate which helps the digestive
system.
Step 2: Do not eat and watch TV. Sometimes you get caught up in what you are watching and it makes
you eat in excess. Think about driving a car with the radio going and you are on a phone call but you miss a turn
that takes you out of the way from where you wanted to go. Such is the correlation with eating and watching
television.
Step 3: Breakfast is a must. Upon waking up each day your metabolism is always at its peak so you
should eat bigger meals earlier in the day to help you get through the day and avoid heavy eating later.
Step 4: Do Full Body Strength Training. I know you have seen the guy whose’ biceps are so big that
he cannot raise his arms. Reason being is that he does not have good proportion throughout the body. It is
important to train everything equally so that you have great balance and you engage your CORE MUSCLES (part of the
abs) to begin working.
Step 5: Eat Healthy Meals. Yes I know you have heard everyone in the world say it, but it is true.
If you were a world class athlete and you ate fried foods and junk food everyday I can assure you that you would
fall by the way side sooner or later because the body functions based off of the fuel that it is given. Consume a
nutritious and low-calorie diet to expose a toned belly.
Step 6: Sleep Earlier. The longer you are up the more fuel your body will need to sustain itself,
which means eating at 2am and sleeping will lead to stomach fat. Get in bed at a decent hour to avoid the late
night urges.
Step 7: Take Omega 3 Fish Oil Pills. "The Omega-3 found in fish oil increases fat-burning ability
by improving the flow of blood to muscles during exercise," university researcher Alison Hill told Reuters. The
university's study monitored 68 overweight and obese people, divided into four groups, over three months. They are
also great in keeping down cholesterol levels.
